In this particular Exhibition, Rachel had worked hard to get new paintings ready and displayed all for a weekend exhibition. All of this was achieved whilst having a 2 week old baby and 3 other children. Rachel’s career as an artist has always been created around having children, working late evenings into the early hours of the morning. The importance of having a career whilst being a full time mother has always been a challenge yet fulfilling, not forgetting her own desires and ambition to succeed. Her consistent drive to push further has helped her to be where she is today.

The Cliff Top Artists- Open Air Art Exhibition

This Annual exhibition is always a fun one for Rachel. This is because she experiments with her art style and explores new things to paint whilst waiting patiently for customers to walk on by and browse the artists paintings. Whilst at the cliff tops in Penarth, the particular painting featured, Rachel discovered her love for painting pebbles.

The Watercolour Challenge on My5

Rachel participated in 5 episodes based in Wales. She was one of four contestants and enjoyed filming and painting over 2 and 1/2 days for the 5 episodes! Painting Usk Cottage, Llantwit Major, St Donats Castle, Rhondda Heritage Park and Usk Bridge. Click here to find the episodes.
