Private Party - Paint Alongs

Join friends or family  together in Cardiff and surrounding areas to have a go at painting a step-by-step tutorial in a casual environment.  In your home of a hired venue. Make it an experience to remember. Choose from many designs to suit your theme party.  For Hen-do’s, Baby showers, Milestone Birthdays, Children’s parties and Team building. All materials will be provided, all you have to do is choose the date, gather your friends, and get painting!

Paint Along Parties

Have you been looking for a new activity to do with your friends? Maybe you are planning a unique hen do. Why not do a paint along party? In the comfort of your own home, and the surroundings of all your friends, this activity is sure to be remembered for years to come.

Afterwards you'll have a beautiful painting to hang in your house to make you smile and remember the fun you had.

How Does it Work?

Once you've picked a date and a location, all you have to do is gather your friends. We'll get together and spend 90 minutes painting, gabbing, and having fun!

What will we paint?

That is up to you. Is there something specific you'd like to paint; a place, a memory, favourite flower or animal? Get in touch and we can talk things through to cater to your specific party.

Materials

All materials will be provided. This includes

  • canvas or canvas paper (optional)
  • an easel or work flat
  • Acrylic Paints
  • Brushes
  • Water jars
  • Kitchen roll
  • Pencils
  • Paint palettes

You will need:

An apron or old clothing to avoid spoiling your outfit, should you be a messy artist!

Smiles and bags of enthusiasm!

How Much Does it Cost?

For a private event (Adults) (Birthday parties, Baby showers, Hen-do’s, team building)

£25 per person (minimum of 6 people)

This includes all materials, two hours of step by step tuition with time for individual guidance. This is for all abilities, new learners and experienced.

When booking a venue or hosting at home, allow 30-45 minutes for setup and 30 minutes for takedown. Ensure enough table space for each participant, who will have:

  • A board (slightly larger than A3)
  • A water pot
  • A paint palette (paper plate)
  • A mini reference image with an easel

If space is limited, Rachel can provide up to 10 easels, but working flat is recommended to prevent paint from running.

Who can paint?

Rachel's parties can also be catered to children's birthday parties.

Children’s birthday parties are age-specific and include 90 minutes of guided painting with all materials provided.

When booking a venue or hosting at home, allow 30-45 minutes for setup and 30 minutes for takedown. Ensure enough table space for each participant, who will have:

  • A board (slightly larger than A3)
  • A water pot
  • A paint palette (paper plate)
  • A mini reference image with an easel

A party package starts at £150 for a minimum of 10 children. For more than 10 children the extra costs apply.

5yrs+

90mins with 1 break (after 45 mins)

Simple instructions to a simplified painting. Paintings can include A Princess castle, a Mermaid, a Dinosaur, a Superhero, a Unicorn, a Sunset picture and Animals. More options are available see below. Specific designs can be created for a specific theme on request with a charge of £50. + £12pp for extra Children

8yrs+

Paint along with more focus on detail, how to use the paint brush in various ways, blending and mixing etc. The options are same as above. (other options on request.)+ £13pp for extra children

12yrs+

Paint along using specific techniques and focus on detail. (a choice from seascapes or landscapes and all options as above.) £15pp for extra children.

Each child will leave with a finished painting to take home and a new skill to nurture.

All images shown are a mix of Adult and Family paint along designs. You can select from these for your party or event you are holding. Rachel can provide guidance on what’s suitable for the age group if needed. However more designs may be available on request so please ask.
